The entire inside of your refrigerator and the door is all made up of plastic. Every now and then you hear about the inside liner cracking, perhaps from something dropping on it or during a move. Often times, on older refrigerators the plastic door liner cracks from long time use and wear and tear. The good thing is, you don’t have to buy a new fridge or use duct tape to cover the crack!
The first thing you should do is drill a very small hole, no more than an 1/8″, at both ends of the crack to prevent it from cracking even further. Most liners are white so you can cover the crack with silicone if it’s a think crack or you can get a liner repair tape.
